About Ronnie Tanner

Ronnie has been working in the financial sector since January, 1970. He was appointed as a clerk at that time, to what used to be ‘The Munster & Leinster Bank’, now AIB Bank, in Skibbereen, and continued to serve his customers there until he resigned his post as Assistant Manager in October, 1985, to set up his own financial service business.

He was initially appointed as an agent by Norwich Irish Building Society, and shortly after became an agent for Standard Life Assurance, Norwich Union, Friends Provident and Hibernian Life. He continued with Norwich Irish until they were taken over by the EBS Building Society, in March, 1998.

He remained with EBS until February, 2012 when, due to a reorganisation of the EBS Network, the EBS office in Skibbereen, like many other such offices around the country, was closed. Ronnie then applied for and was granted an Investment and Deposit Brokerage with KBC Bank Ireland, plc.

Ronnie provides financial advice from his offices based in Skibbereen, serving the whole of West Cork with clients further afield too.
